MS06: Post Mortem

Dopefish
What did you do for this milestone?
- Got more done on the planning for the mocap shoot in December. Will get back in touch with the university after 11th of November to finalize the date.
- Still checking with Måns von Rudfelt for a specific date to have the shoot. The mocap studio manager/course handler would prefeer a ordinary weekday rather than a weekend, but he could most likely provide us with an assistant in that case.
- Got help for the rough whitebox of the showcase/recruitment level. It's now in the hands of the modeler/texturer, and we'll know more about the time estimation for it after this weekend.
- Fixed Moddb group and mod/indie game page.
- Sorted out my grades (after much hassle) from last term and fixed study welfare ($$$).

What went right?
Things are progressing well, although slower than planned. The showcase level will most likely become totally kickass :)

Blade Symphony released a very inspirational gameplay mechanic video which had lots of food for thought. Will most likely change our sword stances as combo shortcuts, to be more like Bushido Blade's that has benefits and drawbacks.

What went wrong?
Relying on other people to deliver doesn't always work out. The whitebox of the showcase level was 1-2 weeks late due to this.

The planning for the mocap shoot isn't finalized yet.

We missed the meeting on Sunday evening, 19:00 GMT+1.

What could be done better for next milestone?
Try to be here for the scheduled meeting time, and give a headsup if something gets in the way. Learn some more cool stuff about UDK instead of focusing on solely managing people :)

What did you do for this milestone?
did sliding and some bugfixes, removed wall friction and got drunk and had a hangover

What went right?
The sliding is smoother and better than UDK's current one
What went wrong?
I couldn't spend as much time as I'd like on programming
What could be done better for next milestone?
Work on single things instead of "do something from this, do something from that"
